Graduated from University of Glasgow in 1997 with a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology and joined Smith and Nephew’s European Graduate Scheme. I discovered I enjoyed marketing in local marketing roles responsible for growing medical device brands in the UK.

I developed my marketing skills through consumer marketing at PZ Cussons, where one of my biggest achievements was to transform Imperial Leather shower portfolio from decline to growth.

Returned to the world of healthcare at AstraZeneca to lead global brand teams in several therapy areas. I loved this – working with different cultures, going back to my roots with science and making even a small difference to something I thought was important!

Been with Oxford since 2018 focusing strategy and capability projects for healthcare clients
