The rising violence against the Asian community is a painful & urgent reminder that we must unite against racism in all its forms.

Incidents of hate and discrimination directed at Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) have dramatically spiked over the last year.

According to the nonprofit organization Stop AAPI Hate, almost 3,800 hate incidents were reported between March 19, 2020 and February 28, 2021.

A Pew Research Center survey found that 31% of Asian adults say they have been subjected to racial slurs or jokes since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this time, there has been an unacceptable increase in hate speech and violent attacks against Asians and Asian Americans.

Similarly in the UK, people of east and southeast Asian (ESEA) descent have faced soaring racially-aggravated violence and discrimination during the course of the pandemic.

We strive to embrace diversity and inclusion, and to make our community a safe, welcoming place for everyone.
