I started my career at Boots in brand management then went to Cancer Research UK’s innovation team, designing and prototyping fundraising campaigns. In 2006 I joined What If Innovation as an inventor. Whilst there I worked with clients based in Asia and Europe to identify growth opportunities in sectors as diverse as banking, telecoms, laundry and housing. I left to help Premier Foods set up an innovation function and strategy.

From 2010 to 2021 I worked in innovation for the John Lewis Partnership. Highlights included

  • Creating an internal trends service to anticipate opportunities for product, promotion and people
  • Defining the customer strategy for John Lewis’ experience-led concept shop
  • Leading the development of insights to drive Xmas footfall and sales
  • Empowering Partners to reimagine recognition and career development schemes

I am now a consultant, focusing on sustainability and building innovation capability. I have a BA in French from the University of Nottingham and completed Business Sustainability Management at CISL. I am working to become an ICF accredited transformational coach.
